I would cherish the memory of when I was little and my family went to Disneyland. I was very small, probably around eight years old.  The day didn’t go as we planned: we got lost many times, my sister threw a fit, I wasn’t old enough nor tall enough to ride some of the rides, and so much went wrong. It was near closing time and I was just so tired. I forgot who, but someone wanted some apple pie as a late night dessert. None of us were particularly hungry so we got one slice and four forks. We huddled together at a table outside (as it was a cold night) and we ate the pie in this warm, muted atmosphere as people left around us.

It is terribly difficult for me to describe what happened because I don’t remember much… but I remember feeling loved and that I have never tasted apple pie so good.
